The mission of the Utah Guides and Outfitters Association is:
To protect and enhance the quality of the hunting experience in the Great State of Utah for both the Hunter and the Outfitter.
The UTGOA was formed to:
- Protect your rights as a legal and ethical Guide and Outfitter
- Combine your voice with other Guides and Outfitters in the State of Utah to provide input into the public process dealing with rules, regulations, and legislation impacting hunting, outfitting, and the conservation of wildlife. There is strength in numbers!
- Maintain the ethical standards of outfitting and guiding in Utah
- Protect wildlife in the state of Utah
- Provide a quality hunting experience for hunters and outfitters
- Ensure that hunters, politicians, and business owners understand the impact that hunting provides the state of Utah (lodging, transportation, dining, permits, outdoor goods, hunting goods, automobile expenses, etc.) Hunting provides jobs within the state!
- Help protect, preserve and ensure quality hunting on public lands in Utah
As a Member Outfitter, you will receive the following:
- Listing as a member in good standing in the UTGOA Member List
- Ability to post 5 Images in the UTGOA Hunting Gallery to promote your business
- UTGOA Decal for your truck
- Able to participate in UTGOA events
- Able to have your voice heard as the UTGOA gets involved in public policy decisions
As a member Guide, you will receive the following:
- Listing as a guide member in good standing in the UTGOA Member List
- Able to participate in UTGOA events
Costs of joining UTGOA:
- Outfitter membership is $200 annually
- Guide membership is $50 annually
